CAMERA BASED WIRE ROPE SCANNERS TO
AUTOMATE THE INSPECTION PROCESS

What is Rope Eye?

Camera Based Rope Inspection

Rope Eye is a high performance camera based scanning system developed to automate wire rope inspections. A full recording of the rope’s surface is saved for off location review by a qualified inspector* at their convenience.

AI machine learning will also provide the inspector with a list of all recognized defect types and locations for the inspector to accept or reject.

Lifts & Gondolas

Rope Eye is designed with the versatility to work with all types of ropeway lifts, be it a high volume, business critical gondolas with a permanently mounted unit or several small chair and poma lifts serviced by one unit.

Cranes

Rope Eye was originally designed to automate periodic crane ropes inspections due to the difficulty of performing them thoroughly. Our platform inspects the entire circumference of the rope as quickly as the rope can be paid out and spooled in.

Mine Hoists & Elevators - Energy

The Rope Eye platform has been modified for the extreme conditions in the mine and energy sectors. Our Harsh Environment (HE) unit is manufactured entirely of robust stainless steel with enhanced isolation to operate in hot, moist and dirty environments.

Cable Cars & Funiculars

As with any mass transit system, safety is the top priority. Rope Eye will give your team the peace of mind that your system lives up to our moto, "always on - always safe". Through the use of AI, you have the piece of mind that your team is automatically notified of any unsafe condition.
